From 0:00 to 24:00 on January 21, 103 new confirmed cases were reported in 31 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the central government) and Xinjiang production and Construction Corps, including 9 imported cases (4 in Guangdong, 3 in Shanghai, 1 in Anhui and 1 in Fujian), 94 local cases (47 in Heilongjiang, 19 in Jilin, 18 in Hebei, 6 in Shanghai, 3 in Beijing and 1 in Shanxi), no new death cases and no new suspected cases Cases.
On the same day, 27 new cases were cured and discharged, 3103 close contacts were released from medical observation, and 12 more severe cases than the previous day.
There are 286 confirmed cases imported from abroad (including 2 severe cases) and 5 suspected cases. There were 4572 confirmed cases, 4286 cured cases and no death cases.
As of 24:00 on January 21, according to the reports of 31 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the central government) and Xinjiang production and Construction Corps, there are 1674 confirmed cases (including 80 severe cases), 82495 cured and discharged cases, 4635 dead cases, 88804 confirmed cases and 5 suspected cases. A total of 949349 close contacts were tracked, and 35752 close contacts were still under medical observation.
31 provinces (autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the central government) and Xinjiang production and Construction Corps reported 119 new asymptomatic infections (20 cases imported from abroad), 20 confirmed cases (1 case imported from abroad), 15 medical observation cases (14 cases imported from abroad) and 929 asymptomatic infections still under medical observation (1 case imported from abroad).
A total of 10785 confirmed cases were reported from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan. Among them, there were 9867 cases in Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (8904 discharged, 167 dead), 46 cases in Macao Special Administrative Region (46 discharged), and 872 cases in Taiwan region (771 discharged, 7 dead).
