Six people on board died in a plane crash in Brazil

According to the announcement of Brazil’s Palmas football club, a small plane crashed in the Brazilian state of Tocantins on the 24th local time, killing all six people on board. In addition to the pilots, the other five were the club’s chairman and four players.

The five people killed were 32 year old Palmas club president Lucas Meira, 27 year old goalkeeper ranule, 23-year-old left back Lucas praxedes, 28 year old defender Guilherme no & eacute; and 23-year-old midfield Marcus Molinari.

According to foreign media reports, the four players who died were tested positive for the new coronavirus and went to the away game after being released from quarantine. The plane crashed shortly after taking off.
