U.S. media survey: epidemic swept the United States, more than 3000 counties were spared

Xinhua news agency, Beijing, January 24, new media special telegram according to the US “Wall Street Journal” website on January 21, the Wall Street Journal consulted the data of Johns Hopkins University and states to confirm that the new coronavirus has reached 48 neighboring states and each county of Hawaii. There is no formal County in alas, but the COVID-19 data sheet in the state shows that all cases in the boroughs and census districts of the state reported the epidemic data in California. A novel coronavirus pneumonia case was discovered in the year of the first year of the first United States pneumonia in snohoy County near Washington, Seattle. Less than 11 months later, the virus entered Hawaii, a safe island for lepers more than a century ago. According to the Wall Street Journal’s review of state records and data collected by Johns Hopkins University, it appears to be the last County in the United States to have a new crown case. Since the first case was reported in the United States, the new coronavirus has spread throughout the country, infecting at least 24 million Americans and killing more than 400000 people. The virus spread from big cities to sparsely populated agricultural counties, and finally to the most remote areas where efforts were made to control the virus invasion. To determine which of the more than 3000 counties appears to be the last to show the new coronavirus, the Wall Street Journal looked at Johns Hopkins University and state data to confirm that the new coronavirus has reached each of the 48 neighboring states and Hawaii. There is no formal County in alas, but the COVID-19 data sheet in the state shows that all cases in the boroughs and census districts of the state reported the epidemic data in California. In this year, before the outbreak surged in this winter, the areas swept by the epidemic expanded from the counties with large population to the small counties with small population. In November 2020, the novel coronavirus pneumonia spread to 169 people in the county of Texas. Raven county is the second most populous county in the United States, just ahead of calawao County in Hawaii. Then, in the following month, kalavao County became the last county to have a case. Karawao County, where about 70 people live and work, has little contact with the outside world. Even to the surrounding areas, local residents have to take a plane or take a path to climb up the towering cliff. The settlement relies on an annual barge call for important supplies. Although the county is isolated from the outside world, the state health authorities took measures to close the settlement after seeing the surge of new cases in home-based nursing homes early last year. The authorities suspended visits to the county to protect the five leprosy victims in the settlement. The average age of the five patients was 86 years old. Some people have a serious underlying disease, which puts them at high risk of serious complications or death from the new crown infection, said Warren Wasserman, head of infectious diseases and public health care at the Hawaii State Department of health. However, authorities announced the first official case of the safe island on December 30, 2020, after a resident apparently infected with the new coronavirus outside the settlement landed at the local airport, according to the Hawaii State health service. The returning resident was asymptomatic and tested for new coronavirus in Honolulu, but returned to kalopapa with positive results. Fortunately, the virus did not spread, because this person and the three close contacts on the same flight were isolated after landing.
