Large scale anti blockade protests broke out in many places, including Amsterdam, the capital, and Eindhoven, the southern city, after a nationwide curfew was imposed in the Netherlands on the 23rd. On the first night of the curfew, a new coronavirus detection center in the port was intruded and set on fire by protestors. On the 24th, a large number of angry people gathered in the streets to smash, loot and burn. The protestors threw fireworks, stones and destroyed police cars at police officers, while police used police dogs, water cannons and tear gas to disperse the crowd. A woman was sprayed directly on her face by a water cannon truck and her face was covered with blood.
