Pfizer plans to take legal action against delayed vaccine delivery in Italy

Dimallo, foreign minister of Italy, said on the 24 th that he would take legal action against two Pfizer and two pharmaceutical companies at AstraZeneca to press them to provide the promised number of New Coronavirus vaccines. He stressed that they did not want to claim compensation, but would push the European Commission through all channels to ensure compliance with contracts.

President of the European Council Michelle said that he will use legal means to ensure that pharmaceutical companies comply with the vaccine supply contract. Pfizer’s postponement of supply has led to a sharp drop in the number of vaccinations in Italy. However, Pfizer was quoted by local media as saying that the number of vaccine bottles was reduced, not the dose. Meanwhile, the production capacity of the Brussels plant was being increased, and the supply would return to normal next week.
