Lebanon’s defense minister calls for calm

According to local media reports, on the 27th, the Deputy Prime Minister and Defense Minister of Lebanon’s caretaker government, Mr. akar, issued a statement condemning the attacks on security forces by some people demonstrating in Tripoli on the evening of the 26th, injuring 31 soldiers.

Akar said that the army and security departments of Lebanon have always been committed to protecting people’s security and peaceful authoritarianism, and called on the people to keep calm in special periods.

On the 27th, protests continued in Beirut, Tripoli, Saida, Bekaa, Yamagata and other places. Among them, people in Tripoli continued to attack municipal government buildings and had serious physical conflicts with security forces.
