On January 28, nearly 2 million doses of the new coronavirus vaccine developed by China’s Kexing company arrived in Santiago, Chile. President Pinera personally went to the airport to greet him, accompanied by Minister of health Paris and Deputy Foreign Minister Valdivia. Zhou Yi, the agent of our library, attended the meeting.
Pinera said at the welcoming ceremony that nearly 2 million doses of Kexing Xingguan vaccine from China arrived in San Diego today, contributing to Chile’s fight against the second wave of epidemic situation, which is very joyful, exciting and looking forward to. Kexing vaccine is safe and effective, and the Institute of public health has approved its use for adults over 18 years old, including those over 60 years old. The government will launch large-scale free vaccination in an orderly manner throughout the country as soon as possible to better protect people’s health and life safety. He and the Minister of health will also be vaccinated in February.
The welcoming ceremony was held in a warm and grand atmosphere. Nearly 100 reporters from local news agencies such as Chilean National Television, CNN Chilean, 13, three o’clock, financial times, and international news agencies such as associated press, Reuters, Agence France Presse, and eiffe went to the scene to report.
