Japan’s Tokyo Metropolitan Government announced today (29) that 868 new confirmed cases of new crown pneumonia were reported in Tokyo. Among the cases, 445 were male and 423 were female. The elderly over 65 years old were at high risk, with 225 cases. The number of children under 10 years old was 20. So far, the total number of cases in Tokyo Metropolitan Government has increased to 98439, with 147 severe cases.
