Guterres, the UN secretary general, was vaccinated with the first dose of New Coronavirus vaccine in New York, 28, on the local time. He told the social networking website that he was happy and lucky to be vaccinated, and that everyone must work hard to get all places and all people to get the vaccine, because no one can ensure his safety before all the people are safe.
Guterres, 71, is eligible to start vaccinating residents over the age of 65. The New York government also vaccinates school, public transport, grocery store staff and other front-line personnel. The United States has approved the use of Pfizer and Modena vaccines.
