Myanmar military extends cease fire until February 28

On the evening of January 28 local time, the Myanmar national defense forces command issued a statement, announcing that all military operations throughout the country will be stopped from February 1 to 28, except for the implementation of national defense and management tasks.

The Burmese military also said that in order to promote the peace process and prevent and control the epidemic, the government military has also set up a military peace talks Committee, and called on domestic organizations and individuals to actively participate in the peace talks to achieve permanent peace.
