Italy approved the use of AstraZeneca vaccine and urged the elderly to choose other vaccines

The European drug administration has recently approved the use of AstraZeneca vaccine. Although there is not enough data on the trial of the vaccine for people over 55 years old, it still thinks that it can be used for the elderly. Italian authorities approved the use of the new vaccine developed by AstraZeneca and Oxford University on Friday (29), but suggested that people over 55 years old should choose other vaccines. The authorities believe that because of the lack of data on the trial of people over 55 years old, the vaccine can still be used for the elderly There are not enough representative trials in the group over age, and the effectiveness of the vaccine is uncertain.
