According to foreign media reports, Myanmar’s state TV station has been controlled by the military, and many channels have been interrupted. Meanwhile, communication has been interrupted in many places in Myanmar, such as Naypyidaw and Rangoon.
A spokesman for the National League for Democracy (NLD) said on February 1 that Myanmar’s senior minister Aung San Suu Kyi, President Wen Min and some senior NLD officials were detained by the military during the search operation in the early morning of that day.
