US Secretary of state and climate envoy call for cooperation with China

On January 27 local time, former Secretary of State John Kerry, the US president’s special envoy on climate issues, said at a White House news conference that the United States would cooperate with China on climate issues.

Kerry said that although there are differences between China and the United States on some important issues, it will not affect the cooperation between the two countries on the challenge of climate change. On the same day, U.S. Secretary of state Lincoln also said at his first news conference after taking office that cooperation with China on climate change and other issues is in the interests of the United States.
