Trump signs an executive order against Chinese drones

At the foreign ministry’s regular press conference today (19th), a reporter asked a question. US President trump signed an executive order on the 18th, requiring relevant agencies to assess the security risks of Chinese UAVs to us federal agencies. What is China’s comment on this?

Foreign Ministry spokesman Hua Chunying said: we have noticed the relevant reports. China’s position on such issues is very clear. China firmly opposes the US’s indiscriminate generalization of the concept of national security, discrediting and suppressing the bullying of specific Chinese enterprises, and politicizing science and technology, which will only damage the US’s own interests, image and credibility. We urge the US side to abide by the principle of fair competition in the market, stop unreasonable accusations and crackdowns on non US enterprises, and provide a fair, just and non discriminatory business environment for Chinese enterprises.
