People’s daily, Moscow, January 20 (reporter Zhang Guangzheng) – on the morning of January 20 local time, the provisional plenary (report) meeting of the Russian Chinese Council of entrepreneurs, a non-profit organization, was held in the Russian chamber of Commerce and industry. Zhang Hanhui, Chinese ambassador to Russia, representatives of the Russian federal government and local governments, representatives of more than 30 of Russia’s largest commercial companies, and leaders of Russia’s local governments all attended the conference. At the meeting, the Russian Chinese Council of industrialists elected and approved its leading body.
The Russian Chinese Council of industrialists was established to promote and support bilateral economic projects and promote cooperation between Russian and Chinese business circles. Its main task is to establish direct business ties between Chinese and Russian entrepreneurs, implement joint projects of trade, economy and investment, protect joint investment and solve enterprise disputes. The Russian Chinese Council of industrialists operates under the auspices of the Russian chamber of Commerce and industry and gathers the largest Russian enterprises, entrepreneurs’ associations and federations that do business with China.
