Kiev, January 23 (reporter Tan Wujun) – Ukraine’s Ministry of economic development, trade and Agriculture said on the 22nd that the total export volume of all grains in the 2019-2020 market year is second only to the United States, becoming the world’s second largest grain exporter.
According to the data of Ukraine’s Ministry of economic development, trade and agriculture, Ukraine’s barley export ranks second in the world, corn export fourth in the world, and wheat export fifth in the world in 2019-2020.
In 2020, Ukraine will harvest 65.4 million tons of grain and beans, the lowest level in nearly three years. Since 2020-2021, Ukraine has exported 27.57 million tons of grain and beans, 6.3 million tons less than the same period last year. Among them, 12.75 million tons of wheat, 3.89 million tons of barley, 10.52 million tons of corn and 8.12 million tons of wheat flour.
